Are you a university student or recent graduate with a keen interest in international business and management consulting? Take this opportunity to be part of Business Sweden and join our team in Santiago. Business Sweden is an organization partly owned by the Swedish state and by the Swedish Business Sector that supports and promotes Swedish exports and investment in Sweden. We have been present in Chile since 2008, and our Santiago office also covers Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.

The internship is a six-month placement. The working hours can be flexible if needed due to studies.

As an intern, your time will be split between supporting promotional activities and advisory projects. The administrative part includes assisting the office in the practical day-to-day activities, such as answering incoming inquiries from potential customers and coordinating office visitors, sorting and handling mail and assisting the with simple accounting tasks.

The role is based in Santiago but you will have the opportunity to work with our regional team in Latin America too.

Main tasks to be performed:

Your everyday work time will be divided between support in management consulting projects and daily administrative tasks.

You will be part of project teams working on consulting and promotional tasks that will vary from assisting in the organization of a large seminar/event, to supporting in the delivery of analytical projects, such as a market analysis assignments.

What we are looking for:

- You are a student of Business Administration, Economics or International Relations, or other career that is related with business management and consulting

- You are a quick learner and self-motivated, as you will be assigned a variety of different tasks, and you will be asked to support with ad-hoc assignments

- You have experience with- and enjoy working in project teams

- You possess excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, both oral and written

- You enjoy challenges and enjoy handling multiple tasks at the same time

- You have a positive attitude

- You possess excellent Excel, PowerPoint and AI skills

- You are a hands-on problem solver

- You have excellent social skills and contribute to a great team dynamic

Work period: Start of internship TBD - end of November - February. Working hours are Monday - Friday from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, working 40 hours per week for a minimum period of 6 months.
