Itaú Chile is looking for an Analyst to join its Investment Banking Department (IBD) in Santiago, covering the LatAm ex-Brazil region, which includes Chile, Peru, and Colombia. Itaú is Latin America and Brazil’s largest bank, providing integrated corporate and retail services across its footprint. Its Investment Banking division has participated in some of the largest transactions in Latin America, and its track record makes it one of the leading regional Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) franchises. IBD Chile works in full coordination with Itaú’s other IBD teams in the region, presenting an opportunity to work in a truly international professional environment.

Among the Analyst’s responsibilities are:
- Support the execution and origination of financial advisory services to local and international companies and funds, in M&A and Capital Markets processes, including sell-side and buy-side advisory, mergers and equity offerings
- Develop financial models, including cash flow projections, different valuation methodologies, and calculation of discount rates and returns
- Develop different industry analyses, with emphasis on financial and strategic fundamentals, key participants (regulators, players, etc.), and regulations
- Elaborate presentations and reports to clients and internal teams
- Participate in meetings and conference/video calls with clients and regional teams

Requisites:
- Responsible and proactive team player
- Strong analytical skills preferrable with advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken
- Previous work experience of up to two years in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, or similar areas is a plus
