Senior Associate — Corporate Banking Analyst

Join the Corporate Banking Department of one of the world's largest and most established financial institutions. As Senior Associate — Corporate Banking Analyst, you will serve as the primary analytical engine of the team, delivering high-impact financial analysis across corporate and project finance transactions from origination to closing.
What you'll do
You will lead the financial analysis effort for the department — building and stress-testing financial models, preparing credit proposals for committee review, and conducting deep industry and company research to support origination and deal execution. You'll participate in client meetings and due diligence sessions, contribute to pitch materials and business development initiatives, and ensure all credit documentation meets the highest standards of rigor and governance.
This is a role with significant professional autonomy: you'll apply expert-level judgment to complex credit situations, manage multiple transactions simultaneously, and interact directly with corporate clients, external advisors, and internal stakeholders across the branch and Head Office.
Education: University degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or financial certification (CFA or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum 4–6 years in corporate banking, financial analysis, investment banking, or a related area. Demonstrated track record in financial modelling, credit proposal preparation, and transaction execution. Experience with project finance transactions is an advantage.
Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in corporate financial analysis, including financial modeling, credit analysis, and rating assessment methodologies. Strong knowledge of corporate and project finance products and their risk profiles. Familiarity with Chilean banking regulations and internal governance frameworks. Solid macroeconomic understanding applicable to sector and market analysis.
Skills & Competencies: Expert-level analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced financial modelling capability. Self-driven, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills — particularly for credit proposals, presentations, and committee materials. Strong teamwork and cross-functional coordination skills.
Languages: Full bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
