Investor Relations Team
The Investor Relations Department is responsible for fundraising activities and managing relationships with existing investors. It also coordinates with all teams within Ardian to respond to investors’ due diligence questions. This collaboration ensures that all team members have a thorough understanding of Ardian's full scope of operations. This knowledge allows them to deliver services that maintain Ardian's reputation.
The Investor Relations Department comprises three teams: Sales Force, Client Servicing, and Product Management.
The Client Servicing Team, consisting of over 20 professionals, operates across New York, Paris, London, Frankfurt, Santiago, Singapore, Beijing and Tokyo. This team's primary focus is addressing investors' inquiries, delivering both standard and customized reports promptly and to the highest standards, covering Ardian’s extensive investment activities. Team members, with their strong quantitative backgrounds, are responsible for managing data to respond to both current and prospective investors' inquiries.
About the role
Based in our Santiago office, the intern will play a pivotal role in augmenting Ardian's ongoing growth in Latin America. Having served Latin American clients for over a decade, Ardian has established a robust client base investing in a diverse range of our products. Our Santiago office, opened in 2018, is a testament to our commitment to strengthening ties with Latin American investors and consolidating our growth in the region.
The intern will be primarily engaged in market analysis and competitive intelligence projects led by the Santiago Team, crucial for fundraising efforts. This includes tracking competitors, analyzing fundraising trends, regulatory shifts, institutional clients' portfolios, and identifying new market opportunities within the region.
The role also involves developing and automating periodic reports using both internal and external data sources, facilitating client requests, and aiding the investor relations team in decision-making and fundraising activities.
Moreover, the intern will gain in-depth knowledge of private markets, including developing cash flow projections, calculating performance indicators, and understanding portfolio characteristics.
This position offers a unique opportunity to delve into the complexities of private equity and play a significant role in enhancing fundraising efforts and establishing Ardian's market presence in the dynamic Latin American landscape.
Profile
- Top-tier Business or Engineering School or University (internship is also open for recently graduated professionals).
- Eligibility to work in Chile for 3-6 months is essential (expected monthly salary: CLP 600 000 take-home).
- Strong quantitative, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of managing multiple projects with varying deadlines effectively.
- Native Spanish speaker with a passion for data analysis.
- Fluent English is a plus but not strictly required.
- High proficiency in Excel, along with good knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs.
- Some knowledge in coding (Python, R) is a plus.
- Must be responsive, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
