We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Venture Capital team. This internship offers hands-on experience in supporting VC operations throughout the investment process—from deal flow and startup scouting to due diligence and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Startup Scouting & Deal Flow:
Support Associates and Managing Partners in identifying potential investments by analyzing public and private information to provide actionable investment recommendations.
Map the startup ecosystem in Chile, identify competitors in Latin America, and research global benchmarks.

2. Investment Analysis:
Analyze key data from pitch decks to identify growth potential and risks.
Conduct pre-due diligence of startups, including assessments of business plans, financial data, products, founders, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

3. Portfolio Management:
Process and analyze performance data of portfolio companies, maintaining monthly updates on key metrics.

4. Quantitative Research & Technology:
Collaborate with the Quant team on research projects, including contributing to publications of research papers and exploring innovative methodologies relevant to venture capital.
Test and apply proprietary software tools and algorithms developed by the Quant team to improve investment analysis and decision-making processes.

5. Administrative Support:
Act as a liaison with back-office providers, advisors, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
Assist with administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Strong professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools or programming languages like Stata, MATLAB, Python, or R (nice to have).
